What Karnataka/India needs now ?

NO we don;t need elections, we also despise the politicians. We need educated Bureaucrats who can introduce schemes to improve quality of life.

It does not take much for instance to do get started on the below activities as a start.

HealthCare:
Computerise all the Doctors Clinics such that each patient information, Diagnosis etc is stored in a Central repository.
This way each Doctor is accountable. The populace has a right to information about the diagnosis. Also gives a count of the population density etc.Statistics on the health ailments per year/per quarter basis.

Education:Centralise the admission and educational details of each and every student in schools/colleges.This is not difficult at all.better Statistics on the output and where the students are headed can be derived per year based on the results.

Transport:Identify requirement for subways and Bridges at intersection which cause accidents.this might be bit expensive but what the heck is the TAX paid for ??As a heavily taxed professional I need to know why it is not spent on such activities rather than on needless party banners/meetings/ show of strengths etc.

Prognosis:

Why does the CM have to travel in Skoda when he is just a public servant and a normal Ambassador would be just fine.Unless of course it is his own income. But then Farmers owning swanky cars is un-heard of. Which leads to the TAX question. does he pay tax if yes then how can he afford the luxury ??
These three things at a minimum would summarize what i would do immediately to improve life in Bangalore and Karnataka for a start.
Hey all these require a miniscule amount of the Treasury. Yet we do not see this being done. There are no hopes also for such schemes in the near future.
What does it need to be a Politician. The person has to see beyond what an average individual needs as part of his basic amenities. This person has to be really empathetic to people needs. An average guy like me can best serve a typical cubicle job.Who then can do the above activities with panache.

Sudha Murthy or Narayana Murthy are strong contenders.
They distribute wealth.which is kind of unheard or sacrilege to our present day politicians.
Overall things are going from bad2worse to even worse. With the JD(S) tactics/antics, the Political landscape is a mudslinging and lying zone, unparalleled maybe during our ancient times in India.
JD(S) can put even Chanakya to shame with their back stabbing, lying and cheating techniques.

Surely the DNA of the Politician has matured over the years (for the worse).
At these times i feel a dictator is required for India. The Nandigram shameful episode shows the Congress-Left high handed acts. Which are a complete disregard to Human Life. The people of Nandigram had to resort to exteme measures despite voting for the Left from many years. Why did this happen ? The Left is mostly made up of hypocratic Zamindars and land lords who seldom even think of the populace. This is reflected in the growth of West bengal which is ordinary compared to other states.

Nandigram massacre was a bad day in the History of India. Was it possible to avoid such land grabbing by the Ruling party ??Then what was required in the constituition to prevent other such incidents ??

Was our constituition framed in a Hurry ? or is it that its a Frozen piece of document which is taken for the ride by the present day coalition governments. We surely need a dictator of the mould of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. On name which crops up immediately is Shashi Tharoor. But that is not to be!

But its such a pity we are bound by our so-called Democratic value system which leaves holes for the parasitic politicians to come in and bleed the country!
