End of the political Menopause

When the month of November had started all political activity both international and domestic had some lows.
But this month proved to be heightened with political pot shots by seasoned vile politicians.

While on the international scene pakistan has had some serious back room dealings.Benazir arrived to her death trap only to escape by sheer luck.and Now Nawaz sharif has come back. Both the events had the Musharraf conditional approval i believe.

Both the former PMs know they cannot enter without his backing, who himself is backed by the US.Thats why both demanded 'Return to Democracy' instead of a more strong tirade against the Musharraf coup.it remains to be seen which of the two make it to the highest post. It sure will take 2008 for that to happen.

On the domestic front the Gowda clans unleashed their lies, bigotry to an extreme extent such that even their own family members and relatives might not trust the Father-Sons Combination.
While all accounts seemed to point this as a highlight of november, in came the Nandigram Massacres.
Farmers were beaten up in an attempt to acquire their land forcibly.
This was state sponsored and the Buddhadev bhattacharya government to this day justifies Nandigram. Which is such a shame for a democratic setup like india.
The Left government started drawing severe flak from all quarters and from even the West Bengal High Court.Thats when the cunning government seemed to have scored over the Deve Gowda Politics.

They unleashed religious fundamentalism out of the blue to divert the attention away from the Nandigram Massacre to the 'Taslima Nasreen hate'.

This was an occasion the Moslem Fundamentals in Kolkata had been badly waiting for. They totally played into the hands of the left and started a Riot to evict Taslima out of Kolkata.
The Buddhadev Bhattacharya government in what seemed(?) a knee-jerk reaction moved Taslima to Jaipur after 2 days of rioting in Kolkata.

I think Taslima was a victim of the Nandigram controversy though she is in no way remotely connected to it, but the overtones found its way to her. an issue over her was raised Out of the blue & she had to leave her Safe house in a hurry.
This only shows how mean and self-centred the Politician is today. I think the Bengal politicians have squarely beaten the karnataka counterparts this november.
Well lets see today is just Nov 25th and a full 5 days to unleash some more dirty politiks.
Lets see which state comes a topper.
